Oh look at the scripture on today’s offering of bible.org on this website. Wow. Now I can’t see it, so I’ll have to–wait I can double-screen this whole thing, yes? Nothing like stream-of-consciousness writing. A writing professor said that was part of what? My writing style I guess. So, I’ll let it roll for now. The Lord may reign it in, yes? Undoubtedly! I’m just feeling a real wave of joy right now, there I go again–and I have to share
Last Sunday we had a guest preacher at my main church. I sometimes attend even three churches within the month in New York City. Not church-hopping exactly, but for other reasons. Anyway the guest preacher was riveting, but right now his message escapes me. (It’s been a week! So you know how that goes.) I would have to refer to my notes.
But it’s the senior pastor, who preached a wrap-up and an altar call, that really brought the Holy Spirit in our midst. It’s
“You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts you.” says the prophet Isaiah, in the scripture, Isaiah: 26:3. Well, in the Lord we know
We are temples. Houses of spirits. We have minds, bodies, spirits. And we are walking, talking temples and vessels of the Lord if we are in Jesus Christ.
Based upon our spiritual reality, here is a concept of which most of us do not think. In fact it took me years to think of it, and it was brought to my attention by the Bible verse: “God weighs the spirtis.” – Proverbs 16:2. Why oh why does it say “spirits”? Why is that plural? Do our bodies,
This topic is so vast, that I literally did not know where to start. And the Lord said: Start where you are. Start at the point where you really began meditating upon the Bible and what scripture says about this subject. Keep your thoughts on the healing of a person’s broken heart, shattered mind, and fragmented soul. And I thought of my own broken, lost and fragmented being, before Jesus saved, delivered and healed me, I thought of how Christ led me to freedom and
